The Northeastern Society of Periodontists, Inc. (NESP) is the largest regional periodontal society in the United States. The society was founded in 1959 to promote the art and science of periodontology. Over the past 55 years NESP has kept pace with the expanding scope of periodontics and continues to be the preeminent forum for sharing current information on diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases and issues in implant dentistry. In addition to fulfilling this educational mission, NESP serves as an incubator for future leaders in dental medicine. The 2015 scientific programs will be held on Friday, April 17th and Friday, October 30th. The Spring meeting will focus on "Innovations in Hard and Soft Tissue Preservation and Reconstruction". Our program chairman, Dr. Steve Cela, has worked with me and the curriculum committee to feature a group of world class speakers that have never before presented to our group.
