NESA exists first to help people acquire relevant new economy skills, and then to build a bridge between those skills and potentially life-changing opportunities. We are committed to equipping young people with the skills they need to maximize their capacity to create value for themselves, their loved ones, and society at large. Our first course - full-stack web development (FSWD) - is an intensive, full-time, three-month introduction to designing and building web applications. The first three months will be a focused, project-based academic experience designed to get students up to speed, and the last three months will be a work period where students work on real projects for real companies and have an opportunity to earn as a developer before graduating from NESA. Students leave the program with a grasp of languages such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP/SQL, and frameworks such as ReactJS, Laravel, and Bootstrap.
