New England Region USY (NERUSY) was established in 1952 and has continued to grow ever since. We are part of the New England Region United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and of the national United Synagogue Youth organization. NERUSY encompasses chapters from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. Currently, NERUSY has 23 chapters and over 1,300 members, and we are proud to be one of the largest regions of USY! NERUSY includes a Kadima program for 4th and 5th graders, Junior USY for 6th through 8th graders, and Senior USY for 9th through 12th graders. NERUSY offers teens the opportunity to immerse themselves in various Jewish and social activities while forming friendships that will last a lifetime. Regional events include: Conventions Week-long Summer Encampment Dances Fall Boat Cruise Leadership Retreats Grade Activities In addition, NERUSY offers a girls' volleyball league and a boys' basketball league. At NERUSY events, teens will surely be caught up in the ruach (spirit) as they meet new friends from all over New England.
