Nelson Engineering Co. was founded in the early 90s and has grown steadily over the years specializing in both design and facility engineering. Today, we are an engineering firm that serves a variety of markets and employs engineers in the civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, facility, environmental, and fire protection disciplines. We have cost effectively performed work in 48 of the 50 states and in international locations such as Canada, Holland, The Bahamas, Turkmenistan, Ethiopia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, and India. Our primary office is located in Merritt Island, Florida immediately south of Kennedy Space Center. We provide engineering services covering the full lifecycle of assets including facilities and aerospace ground support equipment. Our work includes requirements definition and planning, systems engineering-based design, equipment commissioning, operations and maintenance engineering and asset disposal.
