North East ISD has more than 70 schools and magnet programs, with a projected 2025-2026 enrollment of approximately 55,000 students. NEISD employs approximately 8,100 people. It is the second-largest public school district in the San Antonio area and the 11th-largest in the state. Over our 70-plus-year history, families have invested in creating top schools, hiring the best teachers, and updating technology to deliver a vibrant, dynamic quality education. Families from across the country are attracted to North East ISD thanks to our numerous paths to success as an accredited school district by the Texas Education Agency.
