Ion Proton System is a benchtop sequencing system designed for clinical and laboratory geneticists, human disease researchers, and microbiologists. It enables users to implement a complete workflow from the sample through analysis, and variant calling or RNA analysis. Ion Proton provides 40-80 reads, allowing for 1-3 human exomes or 1-8 human transcriptomes per run.
