NCC Investment Group Inc. (“NCC”) is a 100% Inuit-owned property management and construction and development company that operates in all three regions of Nunavut. NCC is owned by the four Inuit birthright development corporations of Nunavut (Nunasi Corporation, Qikiqtaaluk Corporation, Sakku Investments Corporation, and Kitikmeot Corporation). NCC was incorporated in 1995 to build, own and lease commercial and residential infrastructure required by the Government of Nunavut as part of the formation of the new Canadian territory. NCC Investment Group Inc. has two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries: NCC Properties Limited and NCC Development Limited. NCC Properties Limited owns and manages an extensive portfolio of commercial, residential and industrial rental units throughout the Territory of Nunavut. NCC Development Limited specializes in construction and development projects, both large and small, throughout Nunavut. The NCC Development staff are experts in construction methods that endure the challenging locations and weather conditions of the North. NCC Development’s construction projects include residential buildings, commercial office buildings, industrial-use space, social housing projects, and individual houses, as well as home renovations, additions and repairs.
