NBID is the bank-driven reciprocal deposit network. Reciprocal deposits are a vital component of our country’s financial infrastructure, particularly among community and regional banks, supporting the competitiveness, scale, stability, and size diversity of the US banking system. Given the critical importance of reciprocal deposits, NBID is building a member-focused network where community, regional, and industry-leading banks and other insured depository institutions have a meaningful voice in shaping the future of deposit networks. NBID LLC is not a bank. Deposit insurance covers the failure of insured institutions, not NBID. Deposits are placed at FDIC-insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution.
