The Community College of Allegheny County is the largest institution of postsecondary higher education in Pennsylvania. The college serves nearly 30,000 credit students through more than 150 degree and certificate programs and offers thousands of lifelong learning non-credit and workforce development courses to 17,000 students annually. Pittsburgh Public Schools is the largest of 43 school districts in Allegheny County and the second largest in Pennsylvania. We serve approximately 25,000 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 54 schools. In addition, Early Childhood programs serve three- and four-year-olds in classrooms across the city.
