For more than 40 years, our world-class expeditions have taken guests to legendary nature destinations, from Churchill, Manitoba, to witness the polar bear migration to the breathtaking Galapagos Islands and the vast plains of the African Serengeti. NHA offers top guides and naturalists to help our guests visit these natural places in an up close and personal manner. As the world's first 100% carbon-neutral travel company, we immerse ourselves in nature’s greatest sites, with an aim towards life-enhancing travel experiences and environmental conservation.

Since 1971, Earthwatch has protected our shared planet, engaging people worldwide in scientific field research and education in order to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. Our vision is a world in which we live within our means and in balance with nature. Our research program involves a global community of researchers, conservation volunteers, NGOs, and businesses, working together towards a sustainable environment. Earthwatch supports about 60 projects across nearly 40 countries, and draws $20 million in annual revenues, with more than 85% of its budget supporting science research and engagement, and going towards programmatic support. Since 1971 Earthwatch has inspired 93,000 volunteers to join vital conservation research projects in the field, helping to make us the best environmental volunteer non-profit organization in the world. Earthwatch supports research projects in four key areas: • Ocean Health - Coastal ecosystems, marine biodiversity conservation • Wildlife & Ecosystems - Biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, sustainable forestry, freshwater • Climate Change - Adaptation, mitigation • Archaeology & Culture - Sacred landscapes, indigenous knowledge systems

We manage thousands of nature reserves and run marine conservation projects around our coasts. There are 46 Wildlife Trusts covering the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. Each of the 46 Wildlife Trusts is an independent charity with its own trustees.
