Naturello is deeply rooted in the experience of the Buratti family which has been farming the fertile land around the Berici hills since the early years of the 20th century. In 1954 the first industrial step is taken, when Pietro Buratti and other partners started up an important canning industry in order to process part of their crops and developed a huge experience in selecting somebody's else raw materials too. In the 90's his sons Leonardo, Pierluigi and Livio, focused and specialized in growing and processing Borettane and Silver Skin onions, becoming the leading company in Europe. In 1999 they founded Naturello which has been consolidated, over the years, by the entrance of new shareholders. To begin with, Naturello satisfied the demand of the food industry for fresh, semi-finished vegetables at profitable prices that only a short supply and production chain can offer. Basil has become one of our main crop with a hundred hectars entirely grown outdoor. Our care and expertise in growing and process this raw material, represent our first quality step in order to produce one of the Italian most appreciated speciality: Pesto alla Genovese. Through our short supply chain, from Basil seed to Pesto, quality, freshness and good value are commitments to our customers we are able to fulfil, naturally. Naturello is nowadays structured and equipped to supply worldwide several recipes of fresh chilled or frozen Pesto alla Genovese, Red Pesto and other not pasteurized sauces. With a flexible manufacturing system and dedicated packaging solutions, we are able to meet the demands of any field, Retail, Foodservice or Food Industry. Moreover, we offer our services of Private Label and Co-packing production as well as releasing recipes dedicated to specific nutritional or functional requirements.
