Natucate – our name intentionally combines the English words ‘nature’ and (to) ‘educate’, as it is our aim to reconcile nature and education. We offer educational Wilderness Experiences, internships and voluntary service abroad with a focus on nature conservation as well as environmental and wildlife protection. Volunteering, nature-oriented educational courses and internships enable participants to make an active contribution to preserving natural areas and endangered species and, at the same time, to broaden their own personal horizon. Ecotourism and Adventure Travel are another two areas of expertise of NATUCATE. Furthermore, we create and organise individual sabbaticals focusing on commitment for nature and environment, development in the midst of untouched nature as well as personal education. NATUCATE’s primary concern is to offer projects and programmes which fully comply with the corporate philosophy, in particular regarding high sustainability standards. Since it is difficult to provide proper quality assurance our programme portfolio does not include projects involving children’s aid as well as animal breeding projects. As the first German operator we have been recommended as an ethic agency for voluntary work by Campaign Against Canned Hunting (CACH), a non-profit organisation that strives to secure a ban on captive breeding of lions for the canned hunting industry and whose work we fully support. We believe that the combination of meaningful activity, nature experience and outdoor adventure is the most effective form of further education in the sense of our guiding principle; furthermore, it is an equally appropriate means for personal development and individual qualification. We offer various possibilities on how to arrange a stay abroad – from a short time out to a long-term break from the hectic of daily life. Our range of services is aimed at all adventure seekers who are interested in the conservation and protection of our resources.
