The Institute of People Management (IPM) is a professional membership body representing Human Resources Management. It's a not-for-profit independent body with official recognition from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Since its inception, its core goal has been to enhance the competence of HR Professionals by providing knowledge and tools for strategic and operational people management and development that contribute to the growth, profitability and sustainability of businesses. IPM is also the founding member of the African Human Resource Confederation (AHRC), the AU of Human Resources and its affiliated to the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA).
