Concerned by the loss of wildlife habitat, Christina Kobland founded Native Return® with the goal of convincing others to share their land with wildlife. Alternatively, recognizing the need to discourage wildlife from congregating in high risk areas, the company markets its product FlightTurf®. Through years of field research, Christina, President of Native Return®, developed the patented, airfield turfgrass technology called FlightTurf® which wildlife avoid, and which requires only one mow a year. Grazing animals including geese and deer avoid FlightTurf®, resulting in safer conditions - for wildlife and for people - in areas such as airports and roadsides. FlightTurf® is the only ultra-low maintenance grass that has demonstrated wildlife deterrence through research done on an airfield. The composition stops erosion and enhances soil biodiversity, including beneficial microbial presence. Native Return® markets FlightTurf® throughout the United States and Canada.
