Native Makers is a platform for creative people. We provide support for creative entrepreneurs through makers markets, workshops and coaching. Since 2014, we have been building our audience and encouraging community within arts, design and making. Our annual Christmas festival event now welcomes over 70 exhibitors and 3 thousand visitors. These visitors are looking to actively engage and invest in creative enterprise in the South West. Native Makers started after founder, Rosie Drake-Amery, recognised a space for curated makers markets in the South West of England. Since then, Native Makers has grown to become a platform to promote emerging and established creatives in Devon, Cornwall and beyond. ‘We plan to continue building confidence in makers, sharing specialised knowledge and helping individuals nurture their personal goals to create stronger businesses.’
