The mission of CNPS is to conserve California native plants and their natural habitats, and increase understanding, appreciation, and horticultural use of native plants. Comprehensive information about California’s flora and vegetation communities is available throughout the state for conservation and educational purposes. * CNPS’s leadership influences personal ethics and actions, as well as public policy for native plant protection.

For over 30 years, Plant Delights Nursery at Juniper Level Botanic Garden has been the shopping choice of serious gardeners and plant collectors around the world looking for unique, rare, and native perennial plants. Established in 1988, Plant Delights is an international mail-order and website perennial plant nursery selling rare, native, and unusual plants from around the world. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina and owned by Tony and Anita Avent, Plant Delights Nursery is located on the campus of Juniper Level Botanic Garden, a not-for-profit, 28+ acre botanic, education, and research campus displaying over 26,000 different plants (taxa). VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - except during Open Garden and Nursery Days held 8 weekends per year - two weekends each season. Please call 919-772-4794 to schedule an appointment to visit.

Annie's is a woman-owned and run nursery/laboratory/mad science experiment. We grow over 2500 varieties of plants in our never-ending quest for the exceptional. From humble beginnings as a backyard hobby 25 years ago, we have evolved into a 3 ½-acre "growing" nursery here in Richmond, CA. We grow our plants the old fashioned way - from seed - in the wind, rain and sun, so plants are "hardened off," healthy and strong. All plants are grown in 4" pots without the use of neonicotinoids or growth regulating hormones. We provide plants to about 60 independent Northern California retail nurseries and open our doors for retail shopping here at the mothership, 9-5, 7 days a week. For fellow plant-a-holics living far away, we also offer plants by mail order anywhere in the continental U.S.
