National Federation of Occupational Pensioners (NFOP) Information

NFOP is an established, national, not-for-profit membership organisation. Our members are from some of the UK's biggest pension schemes who joined our organisation upon retirement in order to continue receiving support, help and information as they navigated through later life. NFOP represents its members on key issues through a collective group called Later Life Ambitions (LLA), with fellow partners from the National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPO) and the Civil Service Pensioners' Alliance (CSPA). Later Life Ambitions is about communicating the real voices of pensioners, and future pensioners to politicians and policy makers. Our members have access to a dedicated team at Headquarters for day-to-day queries alongside helpline services through our affinity partners and third party offers. An informative and entertaining magazine is sent out six times a year, as well as a fortnightly e-newsletter to keep members up to date on key issues relevant to them and older people in general. There are local NFOP groups around the UK, to which members can belong to meet with local members in their area for friendship, support and activities. The NFOP Welfare Fund is a charity set up to provide grants for the replacement or provision of items for members such as household items and home adaptations. The charity also has its own lottery draw with winners every month. The NFOP offering is subscription based, which can either be paid by the individual, scheme, or employer depending on how a relationship with NFOP is agreed and how the membership offering is delivered.
