National Council of Deans of Apprenticeship, Trades and Technology Information

The National Council of Deans of Apprenticeship, Trades and Technology (NCDATT) is comprised of like-minded professionals who champion the development of apprenticeship, trades, and technology professionals in Canada. Members are senior administrators in the public post-secondary system who manage apprenticeship, trades and/or technology programs as well as industry leaders committed to building a strong, skilled Canadian workforce. Founded in 2019, NCDATT amalgamated two organizations, the National Deans of Technology (NCDoT) and the Council of Deans of Trades and Apprenticeship Canada (CDTAC), to form the National Council of Deans of Apprenticeship, Trades and Technology (NCDATT). Our Vision: Champion the development of Canada’s trades and technology professionals. Our Mission: Using our collective insight, we promote and support apprenticeship, trades and technology education, providing a relevant, skilled workforce for Canada’s future. Our members represent post-secondary institutions from coast to coast to coast with a member from 5 different regions comprising the NCDATT Board of Directors. The NCDATT board meets several times per year to discuss pertinent issues to the organization and to organize and plan the bi­annual (fall and spring) meetings and professional development activities.
