July 2000, Red Sea Phosphate Company was merged with El Nasr Phosphate Company, and the name changed to "El Nasr Mining Company" (N.M.C). April 2001, phosphate mines of Abu Zabal Fertilizer co, were also merged with El Nasr Mining Company.
