Based in Arkhangelsk,Russia and named after M.V. Lomonosov, the Northern (Arctic) Federal University is one of the leading educational institutions in the European North. NArFU is North-West Russia’s major educational institution established by RF Presidential Edict of 21 October 2009, on the base of Arkhangelsk State Technical University is a university founded in 1929. In October 2010, the University’s 2020 Development Program was approved by the Government Executive Order.
