NANOSMAT is a premier series of conferences in the field of materials related Nanoscience, Engineering and Nanotechnology. Since 2005, NANOSMAT conferences have been very successfully organised in several European countries, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland and UK. The conferences foster the gathering of talented and truly international people to exchange novel ideas, share new knowledge and technical know-how in the broad fields of nanoscience and technology. As a result of the growing success of NANOSMAT in Europe, NANOSMAT-USA (in 2012) and NANOSMAT-Asia (2013) were also organised successfully. Furthermore NANOENERGY (www.nanoenergy.co.uk) and NANOMED (www.nanomed.uk.com) are off-shoots of NANOSMAT.
