NanoScout is reimagining food safety testing. Using scanning electron microscopy combined with cloud-based AI, our platform detects bacteria, fungi, and viruses down to 10nm in a single test run, cutting sample-to-result time from days to hours. Conventional food safety testing leaves production lines running blind for 24–72 hours while results come back. By the time contamination is confirmed, products may already be shipped, recalls triggered, and costs run into the tens of millions. NanoScout closes that gap. Founded in 2020 and based at the Fresh Start Incubator, our team combines deep expertise in nanotechnology, computer vision, and food science to bring lab-grade pathogen detection directly to the production floor. Our platform is protected by US Patent 12188886 B2, granted January 2025.
