Nanocopoeia is a specialty pharmaceutical company. We solve drug formulation challenges by applying our proprietary ElectroNanospray™ (ENS) platform to; improve the performance of existing drugs, create bioequivalent formulations, and enable formulations for preclinical development. ENS is a novel, patented manufacturing process which produces unique particles that are nano-sized (typically 500 nm to 2 µm), uniform (narrow particle size distribution), and amorphous (non-crystalline). The ENS manufacturing process operates at ambient conditions, utilizes pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and solvents, and is scalable to commercially-relevant batch sizes. The large surface area and amorphous state of the ENS powders results in rapid drug release and enables significantly higher levels of supersaturation, making ENS technology an intriguing new platform for delivering poorly soluble compounds.
