The GPHA is a logistics service provider offering port facilities and services to its customers. The authority manages and operates the Port of Tema and the Port of Takoradi in collaboration with a host of private service providers in the areas of vessel handling, stevedoring, transfer, storage, receipt and delivery of containerized and general cargoes. Others are safety, security and conservancy services. The GPHA also leases out plant and equipment to a wide range of service providers. The major customers we serve include: Ship Owners and their Agents, Freight Forwarders, Cargo Handlings Companies, Importers and Exporters, Haulage Companies, Ship Chandlers, Off-dock Terminal Operators, Warehouse Companies, Dock Labour Pool Operators, etc. CORE VALUES We recognize our employees as our greatest asset and key to success. Le Plan de Repositionnement 2025–2029 vise à transformer le système portuaire sénégalais en un hub logistique régional intégré, performant et durable. Les usagers et partenaires verront des améliorations concrètes à travers quatre axes stratégiques : Axe I : Renforcement de la gouvernance Axe II : Modernisation des infrastructures Axe III : Valorisation du patrimoine foncier Axe IV : Développement du capital humain Notre ambition, avec le Plan de repositionnement, est d’atteindre un chiffre d’affaires de 200 milliards de francs CFA à l’horizon 2029. Pour y parvenir, nous nous appuierons sur : le démarrage du port de Ndayane, le développement des ports secs et des zones logistiques, l’aménagement des ports de plaisance, la maîtrise foncière des emprises portuaires, et la diversification des activités. Ces leviers nous permettront de maintenir et d’accroître notre contribution à l’économie nationale, même dans un environnement économique complexe.
