Namisi & Company Advocates Information

The firm of Namisi & Company Advocates was founded in 1987 as a sole proprietorship, headed by Mr. Fred K. Namisi, an honors degree graduate of the Dar es Salaam University, Tanzania and the Kenya School of Law. Prior to the establishment of the firm, Mr. Namisi practised law with the Insurance Company of East Africa and thereafter the firm of Khaminwa & Khaminwa Advocates, where he was involved in intensive practice of the law in both the commercial and litigation departments, gaining extensive exposure and experience in, inter alia, conveyancing, commercial and general civil litigation, criminal practice, constitutional law, family law, employment law and insurance law. In May 2007, the firm expanded with the addition of one partner, Ms. Helene R. Namisi and several Associates. The firm was established to allow its partners to fulfil their desire to provide a consistently high quality, client-driven, technologically advanced, professional service firm.
