Naturepedic began when founder Barry Cik could not find a truly safe crib mattress for his first grandchild. He and his sons set out to create a safer product that parents could trust: the Naturepedic organic crib mattress. Since becoming a leader in the marketplace, Naturepedic has added kids and adult mattresses to the line-up. Naturepedic mattresses are certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and pass all federal flammability standards without the need for any flame retardant chemicals or barriers. Additionally, Naturepedic baby and kids products are made without potential baby allergens such as wool, latex, and soy. BUBS Naturals was founded in 2017 after a perfect confluence of events. The national tragedy of a best friend, eventually leading to a morning coffee meeting looking to make a difference, preserve a legacy, and have some laughs along the way. The BUBS namesake derives from Glen ‘BUB’ Doherty, who was heroically killed in Benghazi, Libya in 2012. In addition to remembering Glen for the patriot he is, the BUBS ethos centers around the passionate and adventure seeking life that Glen lived.
