Nacla Information

NACLA is a stakeholder organization. Accordingly, its leadership body, the Board of Directorsis composed of balanced representation from our four key stakeholder groups: Industry, Government, Laboratories performing scientific testing and Accreditation Bodies interested in instilling competence in scientific testing. Past and present members of the Board include representatives of Caterpillar, Ford, GE, GM, Lucent Technologies, DOD, DOE, FDA, FHWA, NIST, USDA, US Navy, major laboratory associations and major accreditation bodies. In addition, NACLA has a Standards Committee and Acceptance Panel as well as a long list of NACLA specifiersrequiring NACLA recognition of accreditation bodies. Membership in NACLA is open to organizations in the four stakeholder groups noted above and to any other organization that wishes to support NACLA goals and objectives to improve scientific testing, including compliance with ISO 17025.
