National academy for childhood development — is a public institution officially established under Law No. 11 for 2023 by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to drive the capability-building of practitioners and caregivers (including parents) focusing on early years and to foster the preservation and promotion of the Arabic language and the UAE national heritage. The Academy will launch with the unique offering of an 18-month Diploma in Childhood Care and Development that provides learners with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work effectively, confidently and ethically with children in a variety of contexts and develop a critically reflective understanding of the diverse needs of children and their families. The program will also facilitate the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world experiences within families and other early childhood contexts . Additionally, a full scholarship will be available for the students who have been accepted into the program. تأسست الأكاديمية الوطنية لتنمية الطفولة في عام 2023 كمؤسسة حكومية بموجب القانون رقم 11 لعام 2023 من قبل صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس الدولة "حفظه الله"، بصفته حاكماً لإمارة أبوظبي، لتنمية قدرات الممارسين ومقدمي الرعاية (بما في ذلك الأسرة) مع التركيز على السنوات الأولى من الرعاية، إلى جانب الحفاظ على اللغة العربية والتراث الوطني وتعزيزهما. ستطلق الأكاديمية برنامج دبلوم مهني مميز لمدة 18 شهرًا في رعاية الطفولة وتنميتها يقوم على منهج يجمع بين المعرفة النظرية القائمة على عقود من الأبحاث، وبين المهارات العملية التي يتم صقلها وتطبيقها على أرض الواقع في مجالات الطفولة. ومن أبرز مميزاته تزويد المتعلمين بالمعرفة النظرية والمهارات العملية اللازمة للعمل بفاعلية وثقة مع الأطفال وتطوير فهماً نقدياً ووعياً بالاحتياجات المتنوعة للأطفال وأسرهم. بالإضافة لذلك, سيتم تقديم منحة دراسية كاملة لطلبة برنامج الدبلوم المهني في تنمية الطفولة.
