My Friend's House Information

On the front-lines for over a decade, My Friends House LA Foundation has been supporting the needs of people experiencing homelessness and other marginalized populations. They support residents in and around the Downtown Los Angeles area known as Skid Row. Skid Row contains one of the largest stable populations of homeless people in the United State s. Part of our mandate is to feed the residents of Skid Row through deeds as well as a level of genuine care for those we serve. We aim to provide programs that promote and encourage self-esteem, self-sufficiency and healthy living. To date we have assisted over 500,000 men, women and children with food, clothing, toiletries and other needed resources. We continually meet the needs of a minimum of 500 people weekly. "For I was hungered, and gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw thee and hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw thee a stranger, and took him in? or naked, and clothe thee?"
