The Magnetohydrodynamic Vortex-Inducing Photobioreactor Experiment (MVIPER) investigates the angular speed, flow characteristics, and bubble-moving ability of a magnetohydrodynamically induced vortex in an algae-suitable nutrient solution within a circular small-scale photobioreactor geometry. The experiment is intended for the ESA Academy Experiments Programme 2024/25 and operates under the support and supervision of the Professorship of Human Spaceflight Technology of the Technical University of Munich.
