Musicopia Information

Musicopia's mission is to inspire, educate, and connect children, youth, and their extended communities through collaborative music and dance experiences. Founded by a string quartet in 1974, Musicopia is a leader in revitalizing school arts programs in the Greater Philadelphia area, providing equitable access to music and dance programming. Through a teaching roster of over 100 professional ensembles and solo musicians and dancers of the highest caliber, Musicopia’s programs represent music and dance styles and traditions from around the world including classical, jazz, Latin, African, Brazilian, Middle Eastern, opera, hip hop, rock/pop and others.
