Museum Rietberg Information

Das Museum Rietberg ist ein Museum der Stadt Zürich und zählt zu den grössten Kunstmuseen der Schweiz. Es widmet sich der Kunst der traditionellen, aber auch der zeitgenössischen Kulturen Asiens, Afrikas, Amerikas und Ozeaniens. Seine Sammlung umfasst 23'000 Objekte sowie 37'000 ethnografische Fotografien und ist, was die Objekte betrifft, weitgehend öffentlich in den Museumsräumen sowie im Schaudepot zugänglich. The Museum Rietberg is a museum of the City of Zurich and is one of the largest art museums in Switzerland. It is dedicated to the art of traditional, but also contemporary cultures of Asia, Africa, America and Oceania. Its collection includes 23,000 objects as well as 37,000 ethnographic photographs and, as far as the objects are concerned, is largely open to the public in the museum galleries as well as in the visible storage.
