We are a collegiate design team specializing in custom Multirotor Aerial vehicles (drones). Based out of the Student Design and Experiential Learning Center at Missouri S&T, we compete in design competitions across the country. Our team is organized into divisions as follows: Hardware - Research, Design, and Build all vehicles from scratch. The SDELC is equipped with professional machining and manufacturing equipment, enabling us to do everything from carbon fiber layups to CNC work. Software - Write the code that makes our drones come to life. We participate in both manual and autonomous challenges, and the software team learns how to use a variety of sensors and computing strategies to get our missions done. Business - The backbone of Multirotor is the support provided by the Business Division. Working with university officials, managing funds, designing merchandise, and communicating with external sponsors keeps us in the air.
