MIR (Multicultural Initiative- and Resource- Network) is a network made up of parents and guardians of children and young people with different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The aim of our work is to support ethnic minority families through providing guidance and counselling in the areas of school, family life and Norwegian society. We want to build bridges between ethnic and cultural minorities and society at large, in order to enhance ethnic minority families’ participation in the society. Our organisation is religiously neutral as well as politically independent.
