MultiDrone is a self-proposed and student-driven 5th year group project with the support of Dr Gordon Dobie and the Electronic & Electrical Department of the University of Strathclyde. Our 5th year masters group project runs from September 2021 and culminates by a trade show in April 2022. The project aims to develop a proof-of-concept autonomous swarm of modular drones. The swarm system is envisioned to be capable of pre-determined flight paths in indoor and outdoor environments. The system will be multi-purpose in that it can be applied to various different tasks (such as payload delivery or wind-turbine inspection).
