SSI is a national not-for-profit organisation providing life-changing human and social services. With community at the heart of everything we do, our purpose is to empower individuals, children, families and communities from diverse backgrounds and identities to fully participate in the economic, social, civic and diverse cultural life of Australia, creating a more equitable, resilient, enriched and inclusive society. Since 2018, Queensland-based Access Community Services has been part of the SSI family. And with the opening of our Victorian office that same year, SSI now provides an extensive footprint across the eastern coast of Australia. We realise that no one organisation can achieve social change in isolation. We partner with federal and state government departments and agencies, community-minded businesses and individuals, and we build relationships with domestic and global human-service led organisations and NFPs. We are an umbrella organisation for 15 migrant resource centres, multicultural services and specialist human-services agencies that work together on program delivery, advocacy and sector development.

AMES Australia is the nation's pre-eminent provider of English language and Settlement services in Victoria, in addition to being a major supplier of specialist employment and training services in Melbourne and Sydney. AMES Australia successfully educates and services over 40,000 people every year providing an extensive range of adult education, training and employment programs to a diverse client community. Migrant Help exists to protect people affected by displacement and exploitation, helping them thrive as individuals and recover from their trauma. We support those most in need and least likely to find support elsewhere, whilst aiming to bridge community gaps and bring services and support together. We offer support and guidance to people seeking asylum, refugees and survivors of modern slavery across the UK. Whether someone has fled persecution, escaped from slavery or found themselves in a situation that they do not understand, Migrant Help offers advice, support and a place of safety. We are proud of our diverse and committed staff team. We currently employ people from more than 40 countries. Many of our advisers come from refugee backgrounds and have gone through the asylum process or experienced human trafficking themselves. These dedicated people contribute their skills and experience to help us provide high quality, innovative services that seek to meet the needs of the vulnerable men, women and children we support.
