Since its foundation in 1984 by Mr Ron Jackman, Snr Group MD; Mrs Audrey Jackman, Group FD and their son Paul Jackman who joined the business in 1988 as Group Production Director; Multi-lab has become one of the north of England’s most respected and successful family businesses, and stands today, a globally renowned supplier and fabricator of Quartz glass and high purity/technical ceramics for applications spanning most industries. Multi-lab continues to develop in distribution and fabrication technology, demonstrating our ability to maintain leadership by adapting constantly to the ever-changing needs of its customers. Multi-lab operates from two modern, state of the art Quartz and ceramic fabrication facilities with a very highly skilled workforce. Investments in capital equipment and factory ergonomics in both facilities have allowed us to expand our manufacturing capabilities and product portfolio. We retain a wealth of experience in manufacturing products for most OEMs within the microelectronics, photovoltaic, UV, IR, LED, aerospace and semiconductor sectors to mention but a few. We always welcome the opportunity to review new product designs or ideas from R&D; up to full production, and will work with our customers in helping them take these concepts to market. Today Multi-lab employs around 70 people between two UK sites and its principal activities reflect its core skills..
