Brand new Japanese American Bar & Grill near Purdue Campus in West Lafayette, IN! The restaurant targets young folks born in the 80's and 90's. It is founded as a modern Izakaya, which our main course will be Yakitori (Japanese Charcoal Meet Skewers) and draft beer from all over the world. In addition to sake, we will also serve Japanese style burgers and sandwiches. The name of our restaurant is “Mukutan Ninja” Chargrill & Izakaya. It’s a Japanese “Izakaya” inspried Chargrill and Bar. “Izakaya” in Japanese means Grill & Bar which is a place for young people to get a late night bite and drink; “Mokutan” in Japanese means Charcoal. However, we have combined the same Chinese word “Mu Tan” with “Mokutan” to emphasize our proud Chinese roots. Just like our menu, a product of Chinese, Japanese and Western Cuisine intertwined, we strive to deliver a well-rounded cultural experience. A lot of efforts have put into our menu to showcase our very own Japanese-Inspiration, including authentic Japanese street food, Japanese inspired American food, Japanese inspired Western food, and Chinese inspired Japanese Food.
