With a vision of inspiring dancers of all ages and levels to achieve their greatest potential, director, Julia Dubno, founded Ballet Academy East (BAE) in 1979. Today BAE is New York City's leading center for complete ballet education, internationally recognized for its exceptional training. The school's Young Dancer, Pre- Professional and Adult Divisions nurture students' physical and emotional well-being, build technical skills, and develop artistry. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Darla Hoover BAE's Pre-Professional Division offers comprehensive ballet training with professional-caliber performance opportunities to prepare students for success in the dance world. BAE's proven syllabus creates technically strong, artistically expressive dancers who adapt easily to the broad range of styles required of today's professionals.

The Academy of Dance Arts is located in Downers Grove, Illinois and is home to the Academy Dance Alliance (ADA) - a competitive and performing dance company and National Award-Winning Team headed by Sherry Moray and Ricky Ruiz. The Academy has a superb Ballet Training Program which imparts all dancers with superior technique for the Dance Arts. From Pre-Ballet through our Pre-Professional Division, Academy students learn the Art of Ballet through dedicated Master Instructors. The Academy also has many excellent programs for recreational dancers in Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Tap, and combination classes for Tap and Jazz or Tap and Musical Theatre. Our Young Children's Dance Programs and Classes for Adults and Teens are also a wonderful conduit for health, fitness, and learning the Art of Dance in Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, etc.
