MTD is an Australian owned consulting practice, formed in 1982 from Don McCartney's former practice. Directors and associates of the group have a mix of specialised disciplines and broad-based expertise that is relevant to tourism, hospitality, health, and hotel construction worldwide. Andrew Brain holds a Certificate IV in Architectural Building Design and has a current Food Safety Supervisor accreditation. Andrew has been in the foodservice industry for 30 years. Wasko Dimitroff is a Professional Member of FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International - an international society dedicated to improving professional service in the food and beverage industry), a member of ACCC (The Australian Cook Chill Council), and AIFST (The Australian Institute of Food Science And Technology). MTD office is based in Australia, but our practice is global, with application to Europe, the Middle East, Japan and the Pacific. We have representative offices in the UK and South East Asia and work as a cohesive team that delivers quality professional services across different time zones and great distances. We are totally independent consultants that tailor our services to each Client's requirements. MTD directors and associates are respected in their fields of expertise and accept challenges to create innovative design. Where required, total turnkey services ensure that clients receive maximum return on their financial investment. MTD has, over decades, developed management systems and documentation methods that are easy to understand, and clear and concise but comprehensive. MTD projects satisfy design briefs, meet agreed budgets, and coordinate building with foodservice operational requirements. We also ensure installations comply with contract documentation by effective inspections and management during manufacture and upon installation of equipment.
