MPL (Materials Procurement & Logistics) coordinates procurement syndicates for contractors and project managers. By purchasing directly from the manufacturer and pooling demand from concurrent projects, prices are reduced by 30 to 45%. MPL also arranges delivery of products directly to the construction site (or contractor’s site), providing DDP + insurance terms, in addition to the 30% to 45% reduction in price. MPL is currently focused on the Australian building industry, and particularly on luminaires for commercial and industrial projects. Suppliers are mostly German, followed by Italian and Czech. MPL also works with manufacturers in various European countries to fulfill special client requests.
