SEPT '21 We built a rice field! Partnering with SEEDS OF CHANGE, we set out to turn an entire backyard in suburban Toronto into a good old fashioned Rice Paddy. So great to meet and work with the phenomenal director Jared Lapidus from NY, and let's not forget a special shout out to Sesler's star PD Dylan Juckes and his team who helped bring the idea to life. Fun! AUG '21 We dug deep into Toronto's world of ultimate frisbee and disc players this month and found the absolute best of the best to work with on 2 promotional spots for AEROBIE. You cannot believe the athleticism involved in making the throws and catches look as epic as they did. Not to mention the sharp shooting skills - knocking bottle caps off bottles from 30-40 ft out!! Look for AEROBIE Pro Blade and Ultra Lite products on shelves soon so you can try your hand at this frisbee trickery. JULY '21 The Mowad team is re-united with director/DP Martin Wojtunik for a new Present Pets spot. The 2 Present Pets spots last year were such a success that we were asked to assemble the same team again to recreate the magic. Of course we elevated the cuteness up even a couple more notches this time! JUN '21 Mark Mowad is back with our friends from STIR and Appetito to create the newest broadcast spot for Heart To Home Meals. No Milk Truck this time around, but still a very slick spot for HTHM that will run across all of Canada. JUN '21 The MOWAD family is growing! Big congratulations to EP John Nadalin and his family, their happy and healthy son Theo was born June 7th. Exactly 2 weeks later PM Vimla Mangru and family introduced us to their beautiful daughter Aaliyah. So happy for you both!! JUN '21 A massive week for Mowad Productions and director David Cowdery filming 2 commercials over 3 days in studio, both for our friends at Spin Master. David crafted some ingenious approaches to keep Kinetic Sand fresh and interesting as well as setting the creative bar very very high for the first ever SpinMaster ORBEEZ TVC.
