The MovieLearning Foundation has, in accordance with its statutes, the mission to offer a worldwide learning environment that helps people by means of inspiring and emotionally healing images. Watching these clips, people can better cope with the shortcomings of life and find more peace in themselves and among themselves. The Foundation cooperates with the Double Healix organization, who's goals are also idealistic (social enterprise). Financial income from the foundation is invested in the further development of the online MovieLearning environment. With this, the foundation supports projects that deliver social value. These are mostly projects in which parenting, sustainability, conflict management, reconciliation, friendship or education are central. The MovieLearning Foundation oversees the development of the video learning environment and monitors its idealistic character. The Double Healix organization provides the ideas and the psychological and film-technical know-how. The board of the MovieLearning Foundation is formed by experts with shared idealistic objectives, knowledge of behavioral development and financial affinity. The board regularly consults with the management of Double Healix, establishes accountability and supervises the implementation of the objectives through risk management.
