However, countries around the world today face tremendous pressure on their health systems. - Populations are rising, we are living longer, and chronic conditions are increasing. - Inequalities are widening and quality healthcare remains elusive to millions of people. - In some parts of the world, a third of all deaths are due to preventable causes. Movement Health was created to help achieve the radical transformation required to address these challenges and meet the UN’s 2015 goal of reducing premature mortality by one-third by 2030. We work on the ground with governments, health leaders and the private and third sectors to prepare health systems for the demands of the future and support them in adopting the necessary innovation to transform. Through cross-border collaboration, mutual learning and solution sharing, we will help to bridge the knowledge gap between healthcare systems to improve lives on a global and local scale.
