Founded in May 2024 as a spin-off from Kanazawa University, MoveEz is accelerating the realization of fully autonomous robotaxis to bridge the mobility gap. We leverage 27 years of deep-tech heritage and academic research. Since our first public road trial in 2015, we have logged 40,000km and served 2,000+ passengers across major Japanese regions like Tokyo and Hokkaido. With a robust portfolio of patents, we are transforming "Freedom of Mobility" from a vision into a reality. ムービーズは、「あらゆる人の移動を自由にし交通格差のない社会を作り出す」ことを目的に、完全自動運転のロボットタクシーの実現を目指して2024年5月に創業した金沢大学発のスタートアップです。ムービーズの礎は、当該領域においてまだ黎明期である1998年より27年間、金沢大学で続けてきた研究開発にあります。業界に先んじた2015年より公道走行を始め、現在既に延べ4万キロ、2千人の乗車の実績を持ち、数多くの特許を保有しています。日本国内では東京都、北海道、千葉県などでの実証実験を成功させました。
