Brewery Ommegang is a Belgian brewery located near Cooperstown, New York that specializes in Belgian-style ales. Based on traditional Belgian farmhouse architecture and set on a former hop farm in upstate New York, Brewery Ommegang was born with the philosophy that truly unique ales must be built from the ground up. Brewery Het Anker is a family-run brewery that has been brewing beer in Mechelen’s Grand Beguinage for six generations. During a visit with a guide you will discover one of the oldest breweries in Belgium. In 2010, the family farm in Blaasveld was turned into a whisky distillery. Since then, Belgian whisky has been distilled there from the malt mash of the Gouden Carolus beers. “Batteliek” opened in early 2022: a micro-brewery, micro-distillery and lemonade factory in a former church. A wonderful place where you can enjoy home-made drinks in the restobar or during a creative workshop!
