Mouseion is a division of Shaboury & Associates under which the firm offers its museographic consultancy, design, and marketing services. Established in 1970, by Dr. Hussein El Shaboury in Alexandria, Egypt. Shaboury & Associates started as an interior design firm covering a multitude of segments such as residential, commercial, hotels, restaurants, showrooms, and expo pavilions. In 1997, the firm collaborated in the museum display for the Nubian museum project in Aswan, Egypt and since then positioned itself as a house of expertise in the field of museography, museum display, and exhibition design delivering over 40 projects in Egypt, France and Italy. The firm offers three types of consultancy services: Conceptualization & Design, Marketing, and Execution. These services can be offered individually or full-fledged, depending on the client needs, for five different market segments: 1. National Museums 2. Private Museums 3. Cultural Exhibitions 4.
