Music is our Ministry! Drakensberg Boys Choir School is the only one of its kind on the African continent! The boys of the world-renowned Drakensberg Boys Choir is truly South Africa's singing ambassadors of hope! Our mission is to prepare boys for life and leadership through excellence in music, academics, sports, and social enrichment in a Christian environment. The Drakensberg Boys’ Choir School is one of the few South African schools whose fame extends around the world. Drakies, as it is known, stimulates a boy’s spirit of adventure and exploration in the picturesque Drakensberg surroundings while nurturing the development of the mind and expression of innate musical talent. The choir's wide-ranging repertoire ranges from classic choral works to African contemporary and Afro-Pop favourites. The campus boasts a 500-seater auditorium which is filled to near capacity during the weekly Wednesday concerts and music festivals throughout the year.
