Mount Mitchell optics was founded by Gregory Kintz. Gregory has over 25 years of product development experience in optics, lasers and biotechnology. Gregory spent twenty years in Silicon Valley doing product development, including product development in an FDA environment. Gregory has lead several teams of engineers in the development of products including: GeneXpert and Smartcycler at Cepheid Virtual displays at Inviso Injection seeders at Spectra-Physics Gregory has also had roles in sales and marketing position including product management and direct sales.
