A: Moto is focused on retaining high quality coaches to work with the teams. Go to the "Coaches" to check out the current list of coaches that will be involved in our program. This list will be released once we get closer to the evaluation dates. Q: The web site says that this a "Parent Driven Organization". What do you mean by that? A: The club was formed with one team consisting of my three daughters and other girls that we knew that wanted a positive experience playing volleyball. With that one team, we hired a quality coach and played in quality tournaments. We had success because we put the needs of the parents and the players in front of pursuing national titles or status of the club. This theme was carried forward during our second year with the four teams that we had and again last year when we had thirteen teams. Q: Playing in approximately eleven tournament days. Does that mean we will play in eleven tournaments? A: No, what it means is that we will play in eleven tournament days. A two day tournament will count as two days. A three day tournament will count as three days. Q: Will teams have the ability to compete in more tournaments if they so desire? A: Yes, teams will be able to add more tournaments if everyone is on the same page. Tournament dates over 11 days will be an additional fee. Q: What about scrimmages with other clubs? Does Moto do that? A: Yes, we do. We have good working relationships with a number of clubs in the metro area and beyond that we will have scrimmages with. Q: Why should I choose Moto over other clubs in town? A: Everyone's situation is different and I encourage every player and parent to evaluate all options before making their decision. This should be done well in advance of evaluations, as it is difficult to evaluate at more than two clubs. Moto strives to offer a positive club experience for its players and parents, with quality coaching and appropriate tournaments. We do this while keeping overall cost of the club season under control.
